There will always be service organizations available throughout your lives. They may differ from country to country, state to state, and even community to community, but it is important to be informed of these organizations so that you may be able to contribute if you choose to do so.
After learning about 5 Service Organizations (The Salvation Army, The American Red Cross, The Lions Club International, Kiwanis, and Habitat for Humanity) what are your thoughts on these organizations. Had you heard of them before?
Which organization would you most be willing to be involved with in the future? WHY?
Yes, I heard of them all but the Lions club. I have heard about or seen tlike em before. I would most likely join the Salvation Army. That is because I did the power point on that so it really cool organization
ReplyDeleteI have hear about about most of these organizations. I bleieve that it's really good to have people like these that volunteer to help improve communities around the world. If i had to choose one to join, i would choose The American Red Cross. I would really like to help people get through disasters

ReplyDeleteI have not heard of all the organizations. I have only heard of The Salvation Army, The American Red Cross, and Habitat for Humanity. I have never heard of The Lions Club International, and Kiwanis. I would like to be involved with Habitat for Humanity because I would like to help people and make them houses for people who have nothing.

ReplyDeleteI have heard of a couple of them like The Salvation Army, The Red Cross, and Habitat for Hunamity. I havent ever heard of The Lions Club International, and Kiwanis so I don't know alot about them. I think they all do great things for our county. Without them we wouldn't have all th shelters we have today. Alot of the people in disasters or other danger caused by storms or anything else wouldn't have the help that they get from those organiation.
ReplyDeleteI believe that these organizations are great for our nation. They help out with many great things. I would enjoy being a part of the American Red Cross because you'd get to help out with our amazing soldiers in the war and crisises in our country!
ReplyDeleteI would join the Habitat for Humanity because it is a better way to help out our community and volubteering instead of having to do that because you ar forced. It would be very good to help people that have been in a natural disaster and other dangerous thngs that are known about.

It would be great to be able to learn about how to save someone's life in situations. It would be a great idea to join it, so you would be able to save lives.
ReplyDeleteI have only heard of a few of these organizations. I would probably volunteer to help the american red cross, because they help a lot of people out. They also seem to be one of the most widely known organizations, so it wouldn't be to hard to find an a person that can help you to get invovled.
ReplyDeleteI think that these organizations are both helpful and popular. There is not an organization in this list that I have not heard of at one point or another in my life. Given my personal experience i think that I would most likely lean towards becoming involved in The American Red Cross

ReplyDeleteI would like to be part of the salvation army, because i like the way people go and help people in the time of need for cheap prices or for free. I know i have plenty of stuff to give away, but instead i threw it all out and i now feal bad about it, because i could have given my things to people who would use them to instead of trashing my items.

I heard about all of but the lions club. I would jion the american red cross because you are helping people in need and you also get to travel all over
